OUR STORY
Autism Society of Kenya is a parent-driven initiative, formed in 2003 by desperate parents armed with sheer determination to see a brighter world for their children living within Autism Spectrum disorder. With the condition being unknown to most parents in Kenya, children in some communities remained in very deplorable conditions; some chained in their homes and young adults locked up in mental institutions . One of the main objectives of Autism Society of Kenya at the time was to create awareness of the existence of autism in Kenya and its management procedures. This need still remains to-date.

Working for a brighter future for every individual living with Autism in Kenya
OUR MISSION
